Adding, Not Taking Away — How to Use This Worksheet
This worksheet takes a gentle, non-restrictive approach to nourishment.
Begin with a meal or snack you already enjoy.
Rather than asking what you should remove, consider what that food already provides — perhaps enjoyment, comfort, familiarity, convenience or energy.
Then gently explore whether anything could be added alongside it.
That might be something for longer-lasting energy, something you enjoy for flavour or texture, or simply a drink.
You can also think about whether the meal could be made easier to prepare.
Importantly, there is space to identify additions that would not feel manageable right now. You don't have to push yourself simply because an option appears nutritionally useful.
Finish by identifying one small addition you would feel comfortable trying.
Adding something does not mean taking away the food that already feels safe.
