Eating Disorder Toolbox - For You
EATING DISORDER TOOLBOX – FOR YOU
Gentle tools for difficult moments
This is the personal version of the Eating Disorder Toolbox — designed for the person experiencing the difficult thoughts, feelings, body sensations and food-related moments themselves.
It is not built around forced positivity or expecting you to “think your way out” of an eating disorder. Instead, it offers practical ways to notice what is happening, communicate what you need and get through difficult moments with support.
Inside the PDF you will find:
• a personal thoughts, body and emotion check-in
• a 1–5 difficult-moment scale
• space to notice triggers without blame
• tools for before, during and after difficult food situations
• ready-to-use words for when explaining is hard
• ways of responding to the eating-disorder voice without forced positivity
• a personalised bad-day plan
• a “what kind of support do I need?” guide
• recovery reminders that do not demand perfection
• a personal safety and support plan
• space to reconnect with the parts of you that have nothing to do with food or your body
• a personal message from me
The purpose of this toolbox is not to replace treatment or professional support. It is something you can return to when your thoughts are loud, your feelings are intense or you simply need a way to work out what might help next.
