My Recipe for Life

Unspecified Feeding or Eating Disorder (UFED)

A gentle collection of interactive recipe cards to help you understand your experiences, recognise your needs and discover the ingredients for a fuller life.

Each card has three short ingredients, a kind reminder and a personal question.

Before you begin

UFED is a recognised diagnostic category used when someone has significant feeding or eating disorder symptoms, but a more specific diagnosis is not given. Your difficulties are real and deserve appropriate support.

These are recipes for reflection and self-understanding, not food rules or challenges.

From My Table to Yours

Living with an eating disorder can feel confusing, particularly when you do not have a specific diagnosis that fully describes what you are experiencing.

But your difficulties do not become less important because they are not easily categorised.

Understanding your needs, receiving nourishment and finding compassionate support are all meaningful parts of recovery.

You deserve support.

These cards are for reflection. They do not replace medical assessment, nutritional care or specialist eating-disorder treatment.

If eating difficulties are affecting your physical health, emotions or daily life, consider speaking with your GP or an eating-disorder professional. Seek urgent medical advice if you are fainting, severely dehydrated or becoming physically unwell.
