BLOATED AFTER EVERY MEAL?

Bloating can be uncomfortable, distracting and sometimes worrying — particularly when it seems to happen after almost everything you eat.

This Space to Breathe Therapy resource looks beyond the idea that bloating must always be caused by one “bad” food. It explores digestive discomfort, constipation, eating patterns, stress and the gut–brain connection, while recognising that food restriction is not a simple solution for everyone.

There is also a gentle symptom check-in, practical ideas to try, guidance on when persistent bloating should be discussed with a GP, and consideration of people who already experience sensory eating difficulties, ARFID or a limited range of safe foods.

The aim is not to diagnose yourself or create another restrictive food list. It is to help you notice patterns, understand the relationship between your body and nervous system, and know when to ask for further support.
