WHAT DOES MY STOMACH FEEL LIKE?
Stomach sensations can provide useful clues, but they are not always easy to name. This exercise uses simple descriptive words to build awareness without jumping to conclusions.
This four-page Body Check-in resource explains describe stomach sensations without trying to diagnose them. It introduces the body signals that may be relevant, offers a short step-by-step check-in and includes a spacious reflection worksheet for recording sensations, ratings and possible next steps.
The tone is intentionally gentle and non-judgemental. Readers are reminded that signals can be subtle, delayed or difficult to interpret; “unsure” is a valid response. The aim is to build curiosity and self-understanding, not to produce a correct score or follow rigid rules.
This resource can be used independently or explored with a therapist, coach, dietitian or trusted supporter. It is for reflection and education and does not replace personalised medical, nutritional or mental-health advice.
