AM I TENSE?
Tension can build quietly and affect breathing, comfort, digestion and appetite. This exercise helps you notice it without demanding complete relaxation.
This four-page Body Check-in resource explains use a short body scan to notice and soften tension. It introduces the body signals that may be relevant, offers a short step-by-step check-in and includes a spacious reflection worksheet for recording sensations, ratings and possible next steps.
The tone is intentionally gentle and non-judgemental. Readers are reminded that signals can be subtle, delayed or difficult to interpret; “unsure” is a valid response. The aim is to build curiosity and self-understanding, not to produce a correct score or follow rigid rules.
This resource can be used independently or explored with a therapist, coach, dietitian or trusted supporter. It is for reflection and education and does not replace personalised medical, nutritional or mental-health advice.
