How to ADHD

How to ADHD

By Jessica McCabe

I recommend this book because ADHD advice is most helpful when it works with the ADHD brain rather than expecting someone to behave as though they do not have ADHD.

Jessica McCabe offers accessible explanations and realistic strategies for motivation, organisation, emotional regulation and everyday life. The tone is encouraging and avoids blaming people for difficulties that are connected to executive functioning.

You do not need to try every strategy. Choose one idea that feels manageable and begin there.

Books can help us feel understood, introduce us to new ways of thinking and sometimes give us the words for experiences we have never been able to explain.

I have carefully chosen these books because each one offers something meaningful. Some provide practical strategies, while others share personal experiences that may help you feel less alone.

You do not need to read a book from beginning to end or complete it quickly. Take your time, pause whenever you need to and keep only the ideas that feel helpful to you.

Warmly,

Maggie
