Reflective Writing for Grief and Loss
Reflective Writing for Grief and Loss
A gentle, practical workbook for anyone who wants to make space for grief without being told how long it should last or what it should look like. It recognises bereavement and other significant losses, including changes in relationships, health, identity, home, roles and the future someone expected.
Across nine pages, the guide explores the changing rhythm of grief, different and sometimes unrecognised losses, the ways grief can affect body and everyday life, memories and mixed feelings, anniversaries and sudden waves, and asking for support while keeping personal boundaries. It includes accessible prompts, a flexible reflection map and examples that readers can adapt or skip.
The workbook does not prescribe stages, a timetable or a single route through grief. Readers are encouraged to pause, use only what feels helpful and seek support if reflection brings up more than they can manage.
