When you’re in a low place, reaching out can feel hard. You might worry about being a burden, or not know what to say. A small message to someone you trust can be a starting point: “I’m having a tough time. Could you listen for a bit?” If one person isn’t available, it’s okay to try someone else.
I’m Maggie, a psychotherapist, and I created this reminder because you don’t have to explain everything perfectly to ask for support. What makes reaching out difficult for you? Can you answer this honestly?
