What’s Your Pride Playlist?
Create a soundtrack filled with the music that means something to you.
Music can become connected to memories, people, places, confidence, comfort, identity and different chapters of our lives.
Your Pride playlist does not have to consist only of LGBTQ+ artists or songs explicitly about LGBTQ+ experiences. It can simply contain music that helps you feel like yourself.
Use the prompts to find songs connected with confidence, freedom, comfort and joy before creating your own 12-track Pride playlist. You’ll also have space to explore songs connected to memories and choose tracks for different versions and moments of yourself.
Add the song and artist wherever prompted and use the reflection spaces to record why particular music matters to you. You can type directly into the workbook or print it and complete it by hand.
This workbook may help with:
Self-expression, reconnecting with positive memories, recognising sources of comfort and joy, exploring identity through music and creating something personal that you can return to whenever you need it.
