MAINTAINING MY PROGRESS

Progress is not a perfect upward line. There may be periods when life becomes more demanding, familiar symptoms return or the strategies that usually help feel harder to access. A difficult week does not remove the insight, strength or learning that came before it.

This one-page reflection plan helps you identify what you have learned, what has been most useful and which small actions support your wellbeing. It also invites you to notice vulnerable times and early signs of strain so that support can begin sooner rather than waiting until everything feels unmanageable.

The final sections focus on an early response and a compassionate plan for setbacks. This may involve reducing demands, returning to a familiar routine, changing sensory input, protecting sleep, arranging an appointment, reconnecting with someone or using an existing safety plan.

Use the sheet at the end of therapy, after completing a workbook, during a period of stability or whenever you want to consolidate change. It can be reviewed with a therapist, coach, GP or trusted person and updated as your life develops.

With warmth,
