Enthusiasm, Teamwork and ADHD

CONTRIBUTE • LISTEN • MAKE SPACE

Enthusiasm, Teamwork and ADHD

Bring what you offer, with room for different ways to take part.

Enthusiasm and fresh ideas can be personal strengths in a group. People with ADHD contribute in different ways, and everyone deserves space, support and rest. You do not have to be outgoing, energetic or responsible for motivating everyone else.

Explore a team moment

Choose a situation, then explore possible approaches. There is no score; each response opens something to consider.

Different ways to contribute

Tap any option to explore it. You can value several, one or none of these today.

A quieter contribution can matter as much as an energetic one.

Words for a shared conversation

For groups and managers

Ask people how they prefer to contribute. Make roles, priorities and next steps clear. Offer more than one way to share an idea, and do not assume a lively person wants to lead or a quiet person has nothing to add.

Value enthusiasm without depending on one person to maintain the group’s mood. Agree manageable commitments and allow time to rest. Support needs do not disappear because someone brings a strength.

Space to Breathe Therapy

This is a reflection activity, not an assessment of ADHD or social skills. Strengths and preferences vary.
