I Need to Scream
A neurodivergent interactive expression resource

Sometimes overwhelm is too big for neat words. I Need to Scream gives neurodivergent people a place to express what is happening before they are expected to explain, regulate or make sense of it.

Inside the interactive guide, users can type or write directly into spaces designed for an uncensored brain dump, explore what feels too much, notice how their body is reacting, identify sensory and environmental pressures, reflect on difficult interactions and demands, and work out what needs to stop, change or help.

The resource recognises that overload can come from noise, light, touch, uncertainty, masking, social effort, changes of plan, demands, conflict, communication difficulties or many smaller pressures stacking up. It finishes with a gentle reflection page, a message from Maggie, suggested language for communicating needs, and further reading.

There is no expectation to complete every section or to make the feelings sound reasonable. Write it. Scribble it. Draw it. Say it. This is somewhere to put it.
