My Body Is Screaming Too
A neurodivergent interactive body-awareness resource

Overwhelm does not only happen in the mind. For many neurodivergent people, the body may react before there are words to explain what is wrong.

This interactive guide creates space to notice physical signs such as tension, nausea, shaking, pain, heat, buzzing, restlessness, heaviness, loss of speech, needing to move, needing to hide or wanting to escape. It helps users explore where sensations are showing up, what their nervous system appears to be trying to do, and whether sensory input, an environment, another person, demands, change or several pressures stacking together may be contributing.

The guide then moves towards reducing the load rather than forcing the reaction away: what is needed less, what is needed more, and what another person may need to understand.

It includes writable interactive spaces, a tailored message from Maggie, reflection prompts and further reading. The emphasis throughout is on curiosity rather than judgement: notice the body first; understanding can follow.
