This Person Is Affecting Me
A neurodivergent interactive relationship and nervous-system resource
Some interactions take far more out of us than others. This Person Is Affecting Me gives neurodivergent people a private space to explore what happens around a particular person without immediately having to decide who is right, explain the other person's intentions or minimise their own reaction.
The guide explores what the person does or says, what patterns repeat, what happens in the body and mind, and what remains after the interaction has ended. It also looks at masking: what someone pretends is okay, what they stop themselves from doing, and what they may fear would happen if they responded honestly.
Later pages help users identify what they need the other person to stop, start or do differently, what permission they need to give themselves, and what boundary or practical adjustment could make contact less costly.
It includes interactive writable spaces, suggested communication language, a tailored message from Maggie, further reading and a reminder to seek appropriate support where an interaction involves intimidation, coercion, threats or abuse.
