Cat–Cow
Cat–cow is a gentle flowing movement that encourages mobility through the spine, shoulders and pelvis. Moving slowly between rounding and extending the back can help the body loosen up after sitting, working at a desk or remaining in one position for a long time.
The changing position of the trunk also creates gentle movement around the abdominal area, which some people find comfortable when feeling bloated or sluggish. It’s a simple way to introduce movement without needing an intense workout or deep stretch.
