Gentle Walking
Walking is one of the simplest ways to introduce more movement into everyday life, and it doesn’t have to involve long distances or a fast pace to be worthwhile. Even a few minutes can encourage movement through multiple joints and muscles while supporting circulation and general physical wellbeing.
Regular physical activity can also support normal gut motility and may help some people experiencing constipation. Alongside the physical benefits, walking can provide a change of environment, a mental break and an opportunity to reconnect with your surroundings.
