PRACTISING GRATITUDE

Noticing the good does not mean pretending the difficult parts of life are not there.

This resource explores gratitude in a realistic, compassionate way. Rather than forcing positivity, it helps you notice the small moments that bring comfort, connection, relief or meaning — even on days that feel difficult.

Inside, you’ll explore why our attention can become fixed on stress and threat, how to begin with very small observations, what to do when gratitude feels impossible, and ways to build a practice that suits you rather than becoming another task to complete.

There is also a simple three-step noticing exercise, a gratitude check-in and a personal Message from Maggie.

Gratitude can be as small as warm sunlight through a window, your dog settling beside you, hearing a favourite song, a quiet cup of tea, or simply recognising: “I got through today.”
