Supine Spinal Twist
A supine spinal twist introduces gentle rotation through the spine and trunk while you remain supported by the floor. It can stretch muscles around the back, waist and hips and may feel particularly pleasant when your body has become stiff from sitting or staying in one position.
Moving slowly from one side to the other can also provide a calming, deliberate form of movement. The goal isn’t to make your knees reach the floor, it’s simply to explore a comfortable amount of rotation for your body.
