Yoga for Fatigue
What this resource is for
Fatigue is real, whether it is linked to chronic illness, stress, poor sleep, medication, hormonal change or prolonged overwhelm. This resource is designed to help you work with your body rather than push against it. The aim is not to force energy, but to create a little more comfort, steadiness and connection.
Using the guide gently
The guide includes a slow 3-3-6 breath and restorative options such as Child’s Pose, Knees to Chest, Supine Twist, Legs Up the Wall, Supported Bridge and Savasana. You do not need to complete every pose. Choose one to three that feel supportive, use cushions or blankets and stop if your symptoms increase. On a difficult day, breathing comfortably while resting can be the whole practice.
An important note
Persistent or unexplained fatigue deserves medical attention, particularly when it is new, worsening or accompanied by other symptoms. Yoga may support relaxation and body awareness, but it does not diagnose or treat the underlying cause of fatigue.
A supportive message from Maggie
Your worth is not measured by productivity. Pacing, asking for help and taking restorative pauses are forms of self-care, not signs of weakness. Rest is not a reward; it is a requirement.
Until next time, give yourself space to breathe.
With love, Maggie
