Yoga support for Menopause
A balanced sequence supporting mobility, steadiness, relaxation and a positive connection with the body during menopause and perimenopause.
About this resource
Symptoms and energy can vary from day to day. Use props, take breaks and choose a cooler environment when needed. Seek personalised advice for osteoporosis or pelvic health concerns. The infographic offers eight accessible positions that may be completed as a sequence or chosen individually. There is no requirement to hold a posture for a set time; comfort, breathing and personal choice come first.
How to use it
· Choose a quiet, safe space and gather any cushions, blankets or a chair you may need.
· Begin with one or two positions and build only if the practice feels supportive.
· Breathe naturally; never hold the breath or force a stretch.
· Use the guide as a prompt, not a test. Skip or adapt any position.
Included positions
Mountain pose, Side stretch, Warrior II, Supported squat, Cat-cow, Bridge, Supine twist, Resting pose.
Important safety note
This resource is for general education and wellbeing. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, numbness, unusual shortness of breath or feel unwell. Seek individual advice if you have a medical condition, recent surgery or injury, are pregnant, or are unsure whether a movement is appropriate.
Until next time, give yourself space to breathe.
