My Reasons for Change
Change does not have to mean making one enormous decision. It can begin with awareness, reducing risk, cutting down, taking a pause, asking for help or deciding that something needs to be different.
This worksheet focuses on your own reasons rather than what somebody else thinks you should do. Mixed feelings are normal, especially when a substance has become connected with coping, confidence, socialising, sleep, relief or escape.
Try to finish with one small, realistic step. Sustainable change is often built from manageable choices rather than all-or-nothing promises.
This resource is for personal reflection and is not a substitute for medical, addiction or emergency support.
