My Safer Choices Plan
Not everybody is ready, able or willing to stop using a substance immediately. Harm reduction recognises that safety still matters at every stage.
This worksheet helps you think ahead about situations that feel particularly risky, warning signs, people you trust and ways to reduce isolation or impulsive decisions.
Withdrawal from some substances can be medically dangerous, and urgent symptoms, overdose risk or loss of consciousness require emergency help. A safer choice may feel small, but it still matters.
This resource is for personal reflection and is not a substitute for medical, addiction or emergency support.
