I Miss You and It Hurts
An interactive grief, longing and continuing-bonds resource

Missing someone or something can arrive in waves. Sometimes it is attached to anniversaries and major milestones; at other times it is an ordinary routine, familiar sound, message you would have sent or the instinct to turn towards someone who is no longer there in the same way.

I Miss You and It Hurts gives grief somewhere to speak directly to the person, pet, relationship, home, health, future or part of life that has been lost. A large 'I WISH YOU WERE HERE' page allows completely free expression before the guide explores the everyday moments that now hurt.

Interactive prompts include what the user keeps expecting, routines that feel different, and an imagined 'five more minutes' conversation. Other pages provide space to share today's news, ask unanswered questions and record things the person would have wanted their loved one to see.

The guide also explores how missing can be felt physically and what helps when a wave arrives. A continuing-bonds section offers optional ways of carrying connection forward through memories, traditions, objects, stories or rituals without implying that someone must 'move on' or keep reminders close before they are ready.

The nine-page interactive PDF includes writable fields, a tailored message from Maggie, books, further reading and an urgent-support reminder.
