I Want to Scream - This Isn't Fair
An interactive grief and anger resource

Grief does not always arrive as quiet sadness. It can be furious, restless, bitter, confused and deeply unfair.

I Want to Scream - This Isn't Fair gives bereaved people a private place to express anger without having to make it tidy, reasonable or comfortable for somebody else. A large uncensored 'I WANT TO SCREAM' page allows users to write exactly what they are angry about before the guide gently explores where that anger is directed.

The resource considers anger at the loss itself, people, systems, circumstances, the person who died or left, and anger turned inward. It also explores what may sit alongside anger - including helplessness, longing, fear, guilt and the pain of what has been taken away - without suggesting that anger must always hide a softer emotion.

Body-based prompts help users notice the physical experience of grief anger, while later pages create space for words they wish they could say to the person they lost, to other people and to life itself. Safe forms of emotional and physical expression are included alongside prompts about what support is needed when anger becomes intense.

The eight-page interactive PDF includes writable fields, a tailored message from Maggie, books, further reading and an urgent-support reminder.
