Memories I Carry
Grief does not follow a neat sequence, and there is no single right way to experience it. This gentle reflection worksheet gives you a private space to explore memories i carry without expecting you to solve, complete or move on from your grief.
Remembering can bring warmth, sadness, laughter, pain or many feelings at once. All of these responses can belong in grief.
The prompts are there to help you notice what is happening for you, what you may need and what might offer a little support. You do not have to complete every section. Use the parts that feel helpful today and leave the rest for another time.
This resource can be used privately, printed and revisited, or taken into counselling or another supportive conversation.
I want you to use this gently. Grief can change from one day to the next, and sometimes even from one hour to the next. You do not need to make your feelings tidy for this page.
Write what feels true today. Leave a box empty if you need to. Come back another time if that feels better. There is no deadline and no correct way to grieve.
Sometimes simply putting one feeling, memory or need into words can create a little more room around it.
With warmth,
