Memories I Carry

Memories can be an important part of grief. They may bring comfort and warmth, but they can also bring sadness, longing, anger or several emotions at once. There is no right way to respond to remembering someone or something you have lost.

Use this worksheet to explore the memories that feel meaningful to you. You might write about something that still makes you smile, something you learned from the person or relationship, a meaningful place, song, smell or object, or a tradition you would like to continue.

You do not need to complete every section at once. Some memories may feel easier to visit than others. This worksheet can help you create space for remembering while recognising the ways a person, relationship or experience may continue to be part of your story.
