Spring into new beginnings with Space to Breathe Therapy

Spring invites renewal — a gentle reminder to pause, reset, and nurture your mind, body, and spirit as new beginnings bloom all around you.

As we welcome the first day of spring this March (20th), it’s a wonderful time to embrace new beginnings. The season brings a sense of renewal, with longer days, blooming flowers, and an opportunity to refresh not only our surroundings but also our mindsets. At Space to Breathe Therapy, we encourage you to take this chance to look after your mental health, reflect on your personal growth, and embrace self-care.

The power of new beginnings

Spring is synonymous with fresh starts and what better time to take a step back and think about your well-being? It’s easy to become consumed by the demands of everyday life, but prioritising mental health can be a transformative experience.

Take time this month to engage in practices that help you reset and recharge, whether it’s through mindfulness, therapy or setting small, achievable goals. The mental benefits of a fresh season are real, an increase in sunlight can positively impact your mood and energy levels. So, this is your invitation to take advantage of the natural shift that March brings. Start small and remember, it’s okay to ask for help when needed. Prioritising yourself means you are better equipped to show up for others, too.

Celebrate neurodiversity: 17th – 23rd March  2025

March also marks Neurodiversity Celebration Week, running from 17th – 23rd March, a time to highlight and honour the diversity of the human brain. Neurodiversity encompasses a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia and more. It’s about recognising and embracing differences, fostering inclusion and creating spaces where everyone, no matter how they think or process the world, feels understood and accepted.

ADHD e-course of the month: Employer Essentials

Speaking of inclusivity, this month we are spotlighting a fantastic resource for employers: our e-course on ADHD in the Workplace. Understanding ADHD in the workplace is key to supporting neurodiverse individuals and optimising team performance. This course offers practical guidance on creating ADHD-friendly policies, managing ADHD employees and fostering a culture that values diversity and inclusion.

Whether you’re an employer, manager, or HR professional, this course will help you create a supportive work environment where all employees can thrive. It’s an important part of breaking down barriers and removing stigma, especially when it comes to neurodiverse employees.

You can access our e-courses here and start your journey towards building a more inclusive and supportive workplace.

Product of the month: Flare Audio CALMER® SOFT

This month, we’re also shining a light on our Product of the Month: Flare Audio CALMER® SOFT earplugs.

For those who are sensitive to sound or need a little help navigating loud or busy environments, CALMER® SOFT offers a life-changing alternative to traditional earplugs. These innovative earplugs gently reduce noise without blocking it out entirely, allowing you to stay connected while minimising sensory overload. Made with heat-reactive memory foam, the CALMER® SOFT fits comfortably in your ear, ensuring an optimal fit while providing relief from distracting sounds.

They’re perfect for concerts, festivals, busy workplaces, or any loud environment where you want to protect your ears but still feel connected to your surroundings. Available in a variety of colours, you can find the perfect shade to match your style.

Celebrating International Women’s Day

March also brings us International Women’s Day, a day to recognise and celebrate the achievements and contributions of women around the world. As the founder of Space to Breathe Therapy, I’m incredibly proud of the work we do here. My passion for helping others has been the driving force behind the therapy practice I’ve built, where clients can explore new ways of viewing the world, reflect on their behaviours, and create meaningful change in their lives.

My journey as a female founder and therapist has been an inspiring reminder that no matter your gender, your dreams are worth pursuing. I’m deeply committed to supporting individuals on their path to better mental well-being and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives. On this International Women’s Day, I want to take a moment to acknowledge not only the women who have helped shape Space to Breathe Therapy but all women who continue to make a difference in their communities, workplaces and families. Your contributions are invaluable and your strength and resilience inspire us all.
