Work-based training providing individuals with an introduction to Journal writing, allowing them to better manage their stress, anxiety and other issues that affect them in the workplace. It also provides skills that help with diary management and client communication, essential tools for those working in a customer facing role.
The training covers –
• What is Journal writing?
• Structure and support.
• Writing to heal.
• Journaling to reduce work base stress, anxiety and depression.
• Journaling for a better career.
Journal writing complements other training and coaching and can help the individual propel their personal growth, practice creative expression, and feel a sense of empowerment and control over their life.
Studies have shown it is particularly effective in helping with anxiety, depression, chronic illness issues, interpersonal relationship issues, communication skills and low self-esteem. As such, it is particularly suited to helping those that might be struggling in the workplace.
The training takes place over 5 modules and is tailored to an individual’s workspace and their emotional responses within the working environment. For clients with ADHD, we would suggest that training is undertaken at 1 module each week.
