ANGER THOUGHT RECORD
Anger can signal hurt, threat, unfairness, overload or a crossed boundary. When activation is high, interpretations can become fast and absolute.
This record separates the situation, anger and body signals, the meaning attached to the event, available evidence, a balanced response and the outcome.
The aim is not to talk yourself out of anger. It is to understand what it is protecting and choose an action that is effective and safe.
Use the sheet after the intensity has reduced, or work through it with a therapist when anger patterns feel difficult to manage alone.
With warmth,
Maggie
