THE COGS OF ANGER
Anger rarely arrives as one isolated feeling. Triggers, interpretations, body activation, urges and actions can turn together like connected cogs.
This visual map helps you describe each part of your own anger cycle without reducing anger to “bad behaviour”.
The final prompt asks where one cog could slow: perhaps through grounding, a boundary, leaving safely, clearer communication or repair.
Complete it after the intensity has reduced. If anger is linked with danger or loss of control, use it alongside professional and safety support.
With warmth,
Maggie
