ANXIETY, PANIC & OCD SUPPORT GROUPS - UK WIDE

Finding a support group can be difficult when anxiety itself makes searching, contacting people or walking into a new space feel overwhelming.

This Space to Breathe Therapy directory brings together actual UK support groups and specialist peer-support routes for anxiety, panic, phobias and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Inside the PDF you will find Anxiety UK self-help groups, TOP UK's phobia/OCD support, OCD-UK's weekly and themed Zoom meetings, and a substantial directory of OCD Action groups. The OCD section includes general groups as well as specialist spaces for checking OCD, contamination OCD, Pure O and intrusive thoughts, scrupulosity, perinatal OCD, OCD and autism, OCD and hoarding, young adults, students, people of colour, LGBTQ+ people, parents, caregivers, partners and loved ones.

The guide also includes routes for body dysmorphic disorder, phobias, face-to-face group finding, NHS support and broader community peer support when a specialist group is not available.

Each entry explains who the group is for, whether it is UK-wide, online or locally delivered, and what someone should know before trying to join.

The final pages explain what to check before attending, the difference between peer support and treatment, urgent-support information and a supportive message from Space to Breathe Therapy.

Group timetables, capacity and eligibility can change. Always check the provider's current information before attending.
