JUDGE THOUGHT CHALLENGE
A calmer, kinder way to look at your thoughts
Thoughts can feel like facts when emotions are strong.
The JUDGE Thought Challenge is a practical step-by-step framework designed to help you slow the process down, understand what your mind is telling you and explore a more balanced way forward.
J — JUST NOTICE
What is the thought? What am I telling myself?
U — UNDERSTAND
What am I feeling? What is happening in my body? What may be influencing this thought?
D — DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES
What else could be true? Is there another way to understand the situation?
G — GENERATE
What would be a kinder, fairer and more balanced thought?
E — ENGAGE
What can I do now? What small step would help me move forward?
Inside the full guide you will find:

This is not about forcing positive thinking.
A useful alternative thought should feel believable and fair. Sometimes that might be: “I do not know exactly what will happen, but I can deal with the next step.”
The final part of JUDGE is particularly important. Once you have reflected, move back towards your life rather than becoming trapped in endless analysis.
Notice. Understand. Explore. Choose. Move forward.
