PANIC THOUGHT RECORD
A panic attack can feel sudden, frightening and intensely physical. The body alarm and catastrophic interpretation can quickly amplify one another.
This record separates the trigger, sensations, feared meaning, safety behaviours, balanced explanation and outcome so the cycle becomes easier to understand.
The aim is not to dismiss symptoms. It is to compare the feared explanation with what happened and notice which responses supported recovery.
Use alongside evidence-based panic treatment or with a trained therapist. Seek medical advice for new, severe or uncertain physical symptoms.
With warmth,
Maggie
