PICTORIAL THOUGHT RECORD
Some people think more clearly through pictures, short phrases and spatial links than through dense written forms.
This visual thought record breaks an experience into five connected parts: the situation, thoughts, feelings and body sensations, actions, and a balanced response.
You can draw, colour, use symbols or write only a few words. The final panel invites a perspective that is realistic and helpful rather than simply positive.
It can be useful for adults, young people and neurodivergent clients who prefer a lower-language way of reflecting.
With warmth,
Maggie
