PROBLEM-TO-GOAL FRAMEWORK
When a problem feels large, the mind can become trapped between analysing everything and doing nothing. A goal becomes more useful when it is connected to your needs and broken into a workable next step.
This framework moves through the present situation, the barriers around it, the direction you want, what already helps and one small next action.
It is designed to keep goals flexible and compassionate. The “direction” can matter even when the final outcome is uncertain, and the smallest step may be rest, information gathering or asking for support.
Use it in therapy, coaching, supervision or personal reflection whenever you need a clearer bridge between difficulty and action.
With warmth,
Maggie
